Ginkgo’s CFPS Economy is Ginkgo’s entry-level CFPS product, designed to give you high level CFPS reactions at a more accessible price point. This Reagent Mix was developed in collaboration with OpenAI via integration of OpenAI’s LLM and Ginkgo Bioworks’ autonomous lab.

The kit is an E. coli transcription/translation system optimized to produce proteins from a T7 RNA Polymerase promoter.  Reactions consist of a bacterial cell lysate and a reagent mix that contain all components required for protein production; the user must simply provide a DNA template that encodes the protein of interest under control of a T7 promoter. 

1 mL kit enables user to run 50 reactions of 20 µL, or user can scale reaction volumes to their own specifications

10 mL kit enables user to run 500 reactions of 20 µL, or user can scale reaction volumes to their own specifications

100 mL kit enables user to run 5000 reactions of 20 µL, or user can scale reaction volumes to their own specifications
