Ginkgo’s CFPS Ready384 consists of Ginkgo’s Premium CFPS system, reformatted to meet high-throughput screening needs. Reactions are pre-mixed and aliquoted into a 384-well plate. The user must simply add DNA and water, and reactions will produce target protein within hours.
The kit is an E. coli transcription/translation system optimized to produce proteins from a T7 RNA Polymerase promoter. Reactions consist of a bacterial cell lysate and a reagent mix that contain all components required for protein production.
Each plate enables 352 reactions of 10 µL. Of this volume, 6 µL are pre-aliquoted, and the user supplies the remaining 4 µL of DNA, water, and any other desired reagents. Columns 23 and 24 are left empty for customer-specified controls or standards. The plate is black with a clear bottom to enable in situ fluorescence and absorbance measurements.
This kit is compatible with the Solubility Enhancer (sold separately).
